On July 10, the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Jiang Zaidong attended the seminar titled "CPEC:Enhancing Community with a Shared Future for Mankind" and delivered a speech. Secretary of Pakistan's Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Awais Manzur Sumra spoke at the seminar. Jiang Zaidong said that the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence gave a historical answer to the very important question of how to handle state-to-state relations. Building a community with a shared future for mankind provides a new answer to what kind of world to build and how to build it. The Belt and Road Initiative and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor have become vivid practice in building a community with a shared future for mankind. China is willing to work with Pakistan to build an upgraded version of CPEC and make new contributions to promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Sumra said that CPEC is crucial to Pakistan's economic transformation and of great significance to promoting common development. Pakistan is willing to work with China to align with the Five Corridors and the 5Es Framework, and contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
