How to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship?

Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has authorized the Ministry of Inter-provincial coordination, Government of Pakistan to take the application work for the Chinese Government Scholarship. Candidate type: Bachelor Student, Master Student, PHD Student and Short Term Program Student)

So All the required documents should be submitted to the Ministry of Inter-provincial coordination, Government of Pakistan, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will not take any individual application.

Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must

- be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China, and be in good health.

- be a high school graduate under the age of 25 when applying for undergraduate programs;

- be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs;

- be a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs;

- be under the age of 45 and have completed at least two years of undergraduate study when

applying for general scholar programs;

- be a master's degree holder or an associate professor (or above) under the age of 50 when

applying for senior scholar programs.

The following documents are required:

1. Application Form

2. Notarized highest diploma

3. Academic transcripts

4. A Study Plan or Research proposal

5. Recommendation letters

6. Applicants for music studies are requested to submit a CD of their own works.

7. Applicants under the age of 18 should submit the valid documents of their legal guardians in China

8. Applicants with Admission Letter from designated universities should enclose the letter in the application package.

9. Foreigner physical Examination Form with blood test result issued by governmental hospitals in duplicate ( The original copy should be kept by the applicant. The form can be downloaded from www.csc.edu.cn/laihua or www.campuschina.org)

10. Applicants with valid HSK Certificate should enclose it in the application package.

NOTE: The above documents should be bound on top left corner (in duplicate). No application documents will be returned.

Online Application should be submitted to www.csc.edu.cn/laihua or www.campuschina.org "Application Online for International Students" no later than 1st of April. The agency number is 5861.

The Cultural Office of Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will assess your online and hard-copy application documents and send the qualified application documents to CHINA SCHOLARSHIP COUNCIL in April.

After receive the Admission Letter and JW 201 Visa Form from CHINA SCHOLARSHIP COUNCIL. The Cultural Office of Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will convey the documents to the Ministry of Inter-provincial coordination, Government of Pakistan in August. The Ministry of Inter-provincial coordination, Government of Pakistan will send the Admission Letter and JW 201 Visa Form to the student.
