On May 9, our embassy, together with the Rawalpindi Chinese Association, hosted a seminar on the theme of "75 Years of China-Pakistan Good Neighborliness: Xinjiang's Development, Ethnic Progress, and New Opportunities." Ambassador Jiang Zaidong and Pakistan's Special Representative for China Affairs, Zafar, attended and delivered speeches. More than 200 people from various sectors of Pakistani society participated in the seminar. 

Ambassador Jiang Zaidong stated that under the guidance of the Party's strategy for governing Xinjiang in the new era, Xinjiang's economic and social development, ethnic unity and progress, and the people's peaceful and prosperous lives are at their best historical period. We are willing to firmly support Pakistan, jointly follow a development path suited to our respective national conditions, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and accelerate the building of a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era. 

Pakistani guests highly praised the comprehensive development achievements of Xinjiang under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and, based on their own experiences visiting Xinjiang, effectively refuted false information related to Xinjiang. They expressed their willingness to make new contributions to continuously deepening Pakistan-China exchanges and cooperation and the ironclad friendship between the two countries.
