On August 12th, the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, in collaboration with the Institute of Regional Studies, Islamabad (IRS), hosted a thematic briefing on Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari sent a congratulatory message to the event. Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and Ambassador Jiang Zaidong attended the event and delivered speeches. A Chinese expert delegation presented Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building and engaged in interactive exchanges with representatives of Pakistani political parties. The delegation is led by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, with experts dispatched by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Party School of the CPC Central Committee.

Ambassador Jiang Zaidong stated that, Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building contributes Chinese wisdom to global party governance and makes a significant contribution to the progress of human political civilization. He expressed China’s willingness to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with Pakistan in the field of party building, accelerating the construction of a China-Pakistan community with a shared future.

Chairman Gillani, reading President Zardari’s message, noted that under the visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping, the CPC has united and led the Chinese people to achieve remarkable development achievements. Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building provides valuable reference for Pakistani political parties to improve governance and serve the people. He affirmed that Pakistan is eager to strengthen inter-party exchanges and cooperation with China to further deepen the ironclad friendship between the two countries.
