On Dec. 6th, Ambassador Sun Weidong visited headquarter of Frontier Works Organization (FWO), an Pakistani Military-based company. Ambassador Sun laid a wreath at FWO's monument memorizing those who martyred during the construction of Kakoram Highway(KKH), and later met Maj. Gen. Afzal, DG FWO.
Ambassador Sun positively evaluated China-Pakistan military-to-military cooperation, praised FWO's contribution to the construction of KKH, as well as to the promotion of China-Pakistan friendship. Ambassador Sun briefed DG on the latest development of China Pakistan Economic Corridor, and wished to further collaborate with FWO and build more milestone projects for bilateral friendship.
DG Afzal welcomed Ambassador Sun to FWO's headquarters, introduced to the latter about FWO's history, structure, and expressed excitement on Pakistan's historical opportunity brought forth by China Pakistan Economic Corridor. FWO would continue to cooperate with the Chinese side, and further contribute to China-Pakistan friendship.
