On Dec. 18th , Ambassador Sun Weidong attended roll-out ceremony of the 50th JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft. Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif addressed the ceremony. Chairman Joint Chief of Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Navy Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Federal Ministers, Chinese Defence Attache Qi Huajun, Vice Chairman Aviation Industry Corporation of China Li Yuhai attended the ceremony.
After the ceremony, Ambassador Sun visited Kamra China Village and conveyed greetings to the Chinese expert group for the JF-17 program. Ambassador Sun spoke highly of their contribution for China-Pakistan military-to-military cooperation, briefed them on recent developments on bilateral relations, and encouraged them to overcome difficulties and complete the project with high quality.
